Trading as a partnership between Mr Steven Rika and Mr David Brooke from 1992 and 1995, they worked out of a small workshop in the center of Bradford building up the foundations of the business by providing a competitive product backed up by a reliable and committed service to local wire drawing companies.
In 1995 the company moved into larger premises in the Low Moor area on the outskirts Bradford and was incorporated as a limited company trading as Bar Products & Services Ltd the name being derived from the names of the two founders, Brooke And Rika. The company flourished and gained many significant contracts. The product range increased to cover shaped dies and all kinds of rollers and tooling, this was driven by the needs of the ever increasing customer base which now included many overseas companies.
During this period they invested heavily in several CNC lathes and machining Centers along with sophisticated Wire Erosion equipment, at the same time they developed a series of automatic and semi-automatic machines to help increase the Wire Drawing Die production output. These have proved very successful internally and we are now developing this range to assist in upgrading the facilities of many of our customers particularly overseas.
In 2009 Bar Products & Services Ltd moved again, due to the ever expanding order book and demand for there products and services. This time, the company moved into a prestigious workshop which included a 2 story office block that was adjacent to the existing factory. This enabled a seamless move and facilitated further investments in new CNC equipment and to expand the production of the Wire Rope Compaction Units and associated tooling which has now become a large part of the companies product portfolio and provides the industry with the relevant expertise through an association with a network of industry experts.
